The prefecture Miyazaki is situated in the South of the country. With it's warm climate all year round the region offers best breeding conditions.

Miyazaki-gyu has dominated the Wagyu market during the past decade with three consecutive titles in 2007, 2012 as well as 2017 at the National Competitive Exhibition of Wagyu (held every 5 years).

Umai Wagyu is proud to have the exclusive distribution right of certified Miyazaki-gyu in Europe and Switzerland.
