Personal data are processed in accordance with the provisions of the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG), in particular on the following legal bases:

  • for the performance of a contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures;

  • for compliance with legal obligations, in particular commercial and tax retention requirements;

  • based on the overriding private interests of the controller, for example to ensure business operations, IT security and communication.

3. Personal Data Processed and Purpose of Processing

We process only those personal data that are necessary for the respective purpose.

3.1 Data Categories

Depending on the contact and business relationship, we process in particular the following data:

  • Contact data (name, company, address, e-mail address, telephone number)

  • Contract and order data (orders, delivery information)

  • Payment and billing data

  • Communication data (e-mail correspondence)

  • Technical data (IP address, date and time of access, server log files)

3.2 Purposes of Processing

Personal data are processed in particular for the following purposes:

  • order and contract fulfilment;

  • invoicing and payment processing;

  • communication with customers and business partners;

  • operation, security and stability of the website and IT systems;

  • compliance with statutory retention obligations under Swiss law (e.g. Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations).

3.3 Retention Period

Personal data are stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations.

As a rule, the retention period is 10 years after termination of the contractual relationship.

4. Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data are disclosed only where necessary and legally permissible, in particular to:

  • logistics and transport service providers (for the delivery of goods);

  • banks and payment service providers (for payment processing);

  • authorities (e.g. tax authorities), to the extent we are legally obliged to do so;

  • IT and hosting service providers, in the context of data processing on behalf of the controller.

These recipients process the data either in their own responsibility or as processors pursuant to Art. 9 revDSG.

No disclosure to other third parties takes place unless there is a legal basis or express consent.

5. Transfer of Data Abroad

Personal data may be transferred to recipients in Switzerland or in member states of the European Union (EU).

The EU has an adequate level of data protection recognised by the Swiss Federal Council.

No transfers to other countries take place.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or unlawful processing, in particular:

  • SSL/TLS encryption of the website;

  • access restrictions for employees;

  • secure IT systems and servers.

7. Rights of Data Subjects

Data subjects have the following rights under the revDSG:

  • access to their processed personal data;

  • rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • erasure of personal data, unless statutory retention obligations apply;

  • data disclosure or data portability in a commonly used electronic format, provided the statutory requirements are met;

  • objection to certain data processing activities;

  • complaint to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC):

8. No Automated Individual Decisions

No automated individual decisions within the meaning of Art. 21 revDSG are made.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be amended at any time, in particular in the event of changes to statutory requirements or our data processing activities. The version published on the website shall always apply.

Language Clause

This Privacy Policy is available in German and English.
In case of discrepancies between the German and English versions, the German version shall prevail.
